Barbara from Florida, United StatesOutstanding capture Eleftheria! I marvel at the craftmanship of old structures such as this. Amazing placement of stones building something so symmetrical that survives the years sometimes centuries. Although I wouldn't take a chance going into this tower it looks like it could crumble with the wrong movement. 17 Jan 2009 2:11pm @Barbara: No, they are standing there for many centuries, are good! Francesc B. from région parisienne, FranceBeautiful tower and contrasts with the blue sky, Eleftheria... But your photo is too high and it is necessary to scroll to see it ...no more than 800 pixels height is OK :)) 17 Jan 2009 5:26pm @Francesc B.: Thank you very much! The tower was very high for me hehe! Maxine from Rangiora, New ZealandLovely image Elefteria, the tower climbs up to the sky. It looks as though it is starting to crumble by the stones at the base, but people obviously are not worried because of the stacked branches at the base also!
