FROM INTERNET:
"...The Greek National Day remembers the day in October 1940 when the Greek General Ioannis Metaxas answered a defiant 'ochi' ('no' in Greek) to Italy's request to cross the country en route to Russia. The answer pitted the nations against one another and forced the Italians to invade ultimately dragging Greece into the war. Greece celebrates its defiance with a series of national events, parades and church services."

Next Challenge... "MY Special Place" Friday 7th November. Maybe it is the place you live, a room you love, a place you go... somewhere you love to be, a place that is "your space" that means something to you. (No toilets please :o)

Please also let me know any ideas you might have for future challenge topics.

"Mon endroit préféré" le vendredi 7 novembre
Cela peut être l'endroit où vous vivez, une pièce que vous aimez,un endroit où vous allez ,quelque part où vous aimez être...un endroit qui est "votre endroit" ,qui signifie quelque chose pour vous ".

Thank you Marie-Hélène for the help with the translation :o)
