I will be on vacation to Astypalea island, Dodecanese, the "butterfly of Cyclades" http://www.astypalaia.com, from 15
June until 21, but i will post some photos on these days.
I was born on November 18th, 1998 and I am a girl from Greece :-) Thank you for your comments!

It's the first time i go to Astypalea! I can't wait! I will be back in 1 week. Please, see the site, Astypalea, is the butterfly of the Aegean Sea.

I just checked out Astypalea island on Google Earth, looks like a really dry place! There are two fish farms on the western shore of the northern peninsula. Bring back some great photos!

Very nice macro showing details of the lichen.. which is a symbiotic combination of plants... fungi (mold) and either alga or bacteria... You might find this interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lichen

Thank you Eleftheria for your kind comment on my blog. Yes, I did see the butterfly shape of this island Astypalaia. I have not heard of or seen this island. Perhaps my next trip to Greece will take me there but I look forward to seeing your photos first.
